Kimba grower on the Eyre Peninsula goes 3/4t per ha more from trial of vermicompost
Growers in Kimba ,on the Eyre Peninsula, spaded Australian Vermiculture's vermicompost in on Barley seeded on sandy hills. They reaped three quarters of a tonne better than the barley grown alongside.
No grain test result was specifically conducted on the hill crop. Most of the Barley went F2.
A visual noted by the grower was a better finish and believe a better grade would have resulted if tested independently.
