ProPell
Pelletised Worm Castings
ProPell is a unique nutrient and biologically rich dry fertiliser in bioavailable form. It is a compressed form of pure worm castings. Worm castings have been produced into a powerful pellet form to make for ease of use and consistency in application. ProPell is used as a microbial stimulant as well as a nutrient amendment as it is both high in microorganisms and micro and macro nutrients.
As a remediation tool on non-arable land, ProPell is perfect as a microbial stimulant as well as a nutrient amendment. Beneficial in non-arable land as it reinvigorates the endemic biology aiding the soils ability to host plant growth and increase the overall ongoing soil health.
As a soil enhancement to improve soil health and production – Given the worms ability to provide and stimulate microbes within the soil, ProPell provides a balanced range of microorganisms that can colonise on the roots of plants to instil natural services provided by the relationship between the plant and soil. In doing so the soil foodweb is stabilised allowing natural mechanisms to manage pest and disease pressure through natural ecosystem services. This ultimately minimises the need for pesticides enabling less impact through the reducing the need for chemical intervention.
Crops
Dryland Broadacre
Australian Vermiculture biologicals can be used in a range of annual crops in broadacre production systems. In these crop types products are used early to inoculate the root system as it develops through the germination period to aid in stronger plant and root health.
This is achieved through the colonisation of microbes that then live in a symbiotic relationship with the plants, one of these key microbes is mycorrhizal fungi.
Pastures
Australian Vermiculture biologicals can be used in effective ways to aid in increasing the health and performance of pastures. Products can be used both in managing existing pastures as well as in the renovation of new pastures.
In pastures, soil health is important to manage a range of issues on farm that are both related to the crops and the soil growing the crops but also to the overall health and well being of the livestock.
Horticulture & Vegetables
Australian Vermiculture Pro Biologicals can be used in a range of ways in intensive horticultural production systems, to increase both plant health and growth as well as propagate stronger biological activity in depleted soils.
Tree & Vine
Australian Vermiculture worm derived biologicals can be used in a variety of ways in tree and vine crops. In established trees and vines AV’s worm casting pellet can be incorporated annually to increase the level of biological. AV’s biological liquid ProGro can be used intermittently in mature plantings either through fertigation or through foliar spray throughout the course of the season.
